Welcome to The Queens

The Foodyard at The Queens

Whilst undergoing an extensive indoor refurbishment, the Queens has transformed the area behind the iconic pub into a festival style eat yard, perfect for outdoor summer dining.

The spacious pop up food yard features gourmet food trucks who have taken space to create a delectable selection of eats, including Real Irish Gourmet Burger and Bak’d, a sourdough pizza truck where the Meat and Heat pizza is proving to be a big hit!

The container Bar serves tasty pints and a retro airstream provides signature cocktails including the Cosmo Candy which has a candyfloss garnish and the Bourne Star Martini which pays homage to the time Matt Damon spent in the village last year.

No bookings – first come first served!

The Queens Food Yard is open from 2pm – 11pm Wednesday to Friday,

and 1pm – 11pm Saturday – Sunday.

The Terrace

Open daily from 9am to 11pm

The Terrace offers a menu of sandwiches, light bites, sweet treats and barista coffees.

Our History

The Queens was licensed to dispense alcohol from 1787, the origins of The Queens date back even further to medieval times when Dalkey was the commercial port of Dublin. Today The Queens stands completely refurbished in the heart of this ancient town of Dalkey.
